I Spy Friday (with Smell-o-vision)

We visited Anne Hathaway's Cottage last weekend
and spent a quiet moment on the loveseat in the center of this Lavender Maze
with the bees and the butterflies.

It just smells wonderful.  I brought a sachet home and have it sitting on the table next to me.

It smells so clean and almost medicinal, but in a good way.

I also love it because it reminds me of the Lavender Farms in the Texas Hill Country.

And look what I did with one of my photos.  I think it turned out pretty good.
Now it just needs Smell-o-vision.

Have a wonderful weekend, my sweet friends!

xoxo

  1. Hi Selena,
Just imagine the fun 'Bloggers' would have with Smell o Vision !!
The lavender maze sounds fabulous. I can just imagine the smell as your legs brush against it.
Great photos as always, and the last image could have been a card bought in the gift shop, it's so clever.
Hope you have a lovely weekend,
    Lizx

  3. I love lavender, even though I worry sometimes it's an "old lady's" scent. Your photos are gorgeous.
Have you tried cooking with lavender? I decided to give it a whirl after I tasted lavender & honey ice cream... but so far I've only ventured as far as simple cupcakes. ;)

  4. I love lavender, crushing the leaves or flowers (for thier different notes) under my nose and taking a deep deep breath. Beautiful! Thanks for sparking that wonderful memory.
