Faces of Venice

We were in Venice for about 48 hours and I took a ridiculous number of photographs.
It's just the most visually stimulating place.  I've already posted twice about our short time there,
and I have enough edited photos for 5 more posts.  I hope you don't mind, but I just can't resist.

Faces of Venice, Italy

Everywhere I went in Venice I observed, I watched and viewed.
I just couldn't soak in enough through my eyes and my camera lens.
Everywhere I looked were faces staring back at me.

Even the pomegranate had a face.
Feed me, Seymour!

Did you notice all of the faces in Venice?

  2. Such a great collection of photos! I love animal door knockers, and finding those detailed stone-carved faces when you look up in a doorway. They're not so common here in NY!

Hi, I loved this post! We visited Venice for the first time in July last year and your photos made me feel like I was visiting it again! I managed to safely bring home one of those lovely masks which is a lovely remember of our time in Venice...

  17. Hi Christy. Thanks so much. Btw, I'm sorry I haven't yet commented, but your recent post about anxiety was so good. It's something I struggle with but don't often talk about on the blog. I appreciated the way that you (and Andy) handled it. Thank you so much for sharing! xo
