Happy Mother's Day, Love!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers and mothering souls out there.  Mother's Day is one of those days with the potential to bring up some of the harder emotions, isn't it?  There is love, happiness and joy, but sometimes loss or sadness.

I'm experiencing a whole range of emotions today, but the primary one is love. Absolute love for my wonderful mother, pure love for my beautiful daughter, excitement and joy that she will now know the joy of motherhood, and a new fierce love for a grandson that I will soon meet. And for my husband who loves me enough to know just what I need on a day like today when I'm far from home. Today I'm celebrating all of the love. So whatever emotions you are dealing with today, I wish you love.

Looks like Spring is finally here. It's such a busy time. I've been neglecting the blog a bit but I've finally started editing photos from Egypt. It's bringing back all of the wonderful moments from that trip. I can't wait to share them. In two weeks, we're off to Thailand... Pinch me! I'm beyond excited. That will likely be the last big trip for awhile, because in August we are back to Texas for a glorious three weeks. It's all about the baby and time with family and friends! Really excited about the next few months. Hence, the overuse of exclamation points.

I'm finally getting around to posting the last of the photos from that day out in Kew Gardens. This is the Palm House and Rose Garden. As I've said before, such a great place to take a camera. I bet it's amazing right now with Spring arriving.

(Have you noticed my blog makeover?  Bobbi from Ready to Blog who did my original design once again did her magic.  Love it.)

How are you spending your Sunday?
